Pixie Booties

Here's a simple pattern for baby booties or slippers for the whole family!

For the baby booties pictured, I used worsted weight yarn and an "I" crochet hook.
If you are using a different yarn and hook size (Preferably for baby booties) you will
need to adjust the pattern. To adjust the pattern, chain a chain as long as the baby's foot
and that will be the size of your square.

I chained 20, used single crochet throughout, and crocheted 20 rows.
Then stitch together according to pictures. After that you can add a ribbon tie and even a bell or pretty button . Crochet in red or green for elf booties!

Fish in the Dishwasher!

My Dad gave me this recipe. I don't have a dishwasher so have never been able to try it. If you try it let me know how it turns out!

Fish (preferably salmon)
Salt
pepper
any seasonings that you like on your fish.

Take a piece of foil big enough to fit your fish on and be able to wrap around the fish.
Season your fish the way you like.
Wrap with the foil Place in a ziplock bag and seal, then place in another ziplock bag and seal.
Place on the top rack of your dishwasher, you can put your dirty dishes in also.
Set for highest heat and run the dishwasher. When the load is finished. Take your fish out unwrap and serve on your nice clean hot plate!
Enjoy!

Saturday Surprise!

Well, I told you in my earlier post, I would have my pick for today, and I picked, "Sweet Sally's Soaps" Vanilla Coffee Butter. Two of my favorite scents. Since I have been featuring weddings the last couple of weeks, I think these would make a great gift for the bride. Just think how sweet she'd smell on her wedding night. Check out Sweet Sally's Soaps here http://www.etsy.com/listing/52145129/vanilla-coffee-buttter-goat-milk-body

Lil' Bit of Country Wedding Collection

I have finally finished the last piece to the Lil' Bit of Country collection.  Am very happy how it turned out.
I recommend purchasing the champagne flutes from Mommys Dream , they go beautifully with my country wedding theme. http://www.etsy.com/listing/42980154/custom-painted-butterfly-and-flowers

Baked Chicken Yum

1 Cut up chicken fryer ( I use boneless skinless chicken instead)
1 chopped onion
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup grated cheddar cheese

Place chicken in a greased 9 x 13 casserole dish
layer onion, soup, and  cheese over chicken.
Baked covered 45 min. and uncovered an additional 20 min. till lightly browned.
I personally like to add about half a can of milk to mine
and use the gravy it makes over mashed potatoes.
This recipe is from "Thank Heaven For Homemade Cooks"
